About

Creative Director & Visual Story-teller

An upstate New York native, I am a creative entrepreneur, designer and mother whose personal and professional endeavors have informed my aesthetic point of view. Warm, inviting, minimalism that's translated from my work to my home.

For over two decades, I have brought my multi-disciplinary design approach to launch numerous products, brands and lifestyles in the art, home and fashion industries. I recently co-founded brick and mortar and e-commerce brand River Mint Finery, known for it’s selection of independent designers and finely crafted products and the luxury home fragrance brand, Night Space.

Prior to opening the store, I most recently held the position as Design Director of Decorative Accessories for West Elm. With a focus on entertaining and gift, my career at West Elm began with the design and development of the brand's utilitarian store and product line West Elm Market. Previously, I was a partner and design director at Goodesign and later Aesthetic Movement. Both award-winning studios, my main focus was working with boutique home and gift clients on full branding and product development projects. My past work experience includes collaborations with the Guggenheim Museum, Steuben, and Maharam. I have also worked on extensive identity projects for clients ranging from ESPN to Citigroup.

I received my BFA in Communication Design from Parsons The New School for Design. In addition to working for clients, I have spent many years in the classroom teaching a range of courses from Poster Design, Senior Thesis, Brand Identity, and Communication Design, Concept & Ideation at NYU, Parsons, FIT, and SUNY New Paltz.
